  • A. Classification of Users
            Citizens
    1. Citizens are residents of the Town of Bridgewater, Va. (or individuals who own property within the town).
    2. Citizens are entitled to court time without charge.
  • 3. Citizens may reserve court time without charge.   Playing without reservations may be cut short if someone with reserved time shows up at their scheduled time.
  • 4. Citizens obtain access to courts via card-keys obtained at the Town Treasurer's Office.

  B.   Annual Members
1. Pay an annual patronage fee of $250.00 for an individual or $400.00 for a family.
2. Entitled to unlimited court time based on availability.
3. Obtain access to courts via card-key obtain at the Town Treasurer Office.

   C.  Monthly Members
1. Pay monthly fee of $35.00 for individuals or $50.00 for family.
2. Unlimited court time based on availability.
3. May reserve court time (based on availability) throughout their month of membership.

   D.  Occasional Users/Guest
1. "Pay to Play".   Rate is $8.00 per person per hour- singles;  $4.00 per person, per hour -- doubles.
2. Payment is expected to left in the honor box - located by court 1 on wall.   
  E.      Institutional Users (Colleges, HTP, etc)
Institutions will be handled on an institution-by-institution basis, outside of the general rules for the general card holders. The TOWN staff will work with local schools and colleges to try to meet their needs and promote the use of the facility

The rights of Citizens, Annual Members, and Monthly Members to reserve court time are broad but not unlimited reservations.  Reservations for all users cannot be made for more than a month (week in advance during the winter months) in advance.  Reservations for an unreasonable amount of court time -- in the of the Town -- will not be accepted.

                    Conduct and Security
Tennis center privileges will be suspended or revoked for any of the following types of conduct.
1. Damage to courts or facility;
2. Lending a card-key to someone else;
3. Leaving the door to the facility open or otherwise impairing its security;
4. Fighting
5. Bringing beverages or drugs to the facility;
6. Violating any law or ordinance in the facility, or
7. Vulgar or blatantly offensive behavior.

   If you are unable to play at your reserved time, please contact Frank Lambert at 607-0596 or email him at
frankllambert@yahoo.com 24 hours prior to playing
time.  Contract time folks should also give cancellation notice when they are unable to play.
 This is critical during the busy months and will allow more folks to enjoy the great sport of tennis. .
